This King George III silver teapot is beautifully made by Walter Brind and quite advanced for 1774 with a seamless lid that sits perfectly on top. The year 1774 was when King Louis XVI ascended to the throne of France, Captain Cook discovered the South Pole and English chemist Joseph Priestley discovers oxygen by isolating it in its gaseous state.
